Someday my son won't let me smother him in kisses.
Someday he won't make sweet cooing noises when I talk to him,
or giggle when I rub his nose with my nose.
Someday his eyes won't light up with pure joy at the mere sight of me.
Someday my son will sleep better.
Someday I won't be sleep deprived.
But someday I will miss all the sweetness of his babyhood.

You are in my head. Hehe. I have been sleep-deprived for 4 years now, but much of it has been spent smelling their warm, milky breaths, or kissing their soft forheads as they sleep.
That is beautiful, Kim. Thanks.
