Daddy Doll

Brian and I ordered a Daddy Doll a few weeks before he left. We had them send the recordable voice box ahead so we were sure it'd be here before he left for deployment. The doll showed up in the mail just a day or two after he left and its been a big hit so far! Brian's message to Meredith says "Hi peanut, its daddy! I need some snuggles" and every time the voicebox goes off she gives the doll big snuggles. Daddy even sits in her old Bumbo seat at the dinner table and has meals with us. She takes him to bed too, and I'm sure that one night I'm going to be woken by Brian's voice over the baby monitor! hehe
