Thursday - Day seven brought the first big snowstorm of the year here to Colorado. Most of the day was yucky and windy with very low visibility and we all (Meredith excluded) had no desire to venture out in it. Meredith had slept in and we just had a very lazy morning indoors. By the time naptime rolled around I figured she would fight it and the weather was clearing up a bit so we decided to skip it and head outside! Grandma and Meredith got bundled up and with shovels in tow, went out to shovel the driveway. Meredith is such a little snowbunny. Grandma was surprised at how adventurous she was being... throwing herself into snowbanks and falling down to make snow angels. She did a bit of shoveling too, though I'm not sure Grandma got much done! I was happy to observe from the garage. Grandma had to bribe Meredith inside with the promise of candy and when we took her mittens off her hands were little icicles and bright red. We had a piece of candy then hopped in a nice warm bath and she was back to normal in no time.
